It would have saved me 145 quid and a potentially dangerous situation about 8months ago with a puncture destroying an sc3 at speed, but it was still at the old price then.

I can think of few more fitting ends to an Avon though. But then those that drive miss daisy won't feel the need for this item I suppose....?

I dont have TPMS on the Bus but it does have DDS.

And the advert is wrong as in the US you only need DDS

An extention of abs? So to speak? Just measures wheel rotation?

Yeh, DDS - Deflation Detection System

So the ABS raises a warning when the rolling circumference (and hence wheel speed) drops below a certain threshold.

Works quite well, one of the guys on the Astra forum had his come on recently as his wheel overtook him following two new tyres at Kwik Fit.

Pmsl, is suppose the wireless system would not report the fault until the wheel was out of range, and won the race presumably  :D

Dds hard to retro fit though I guess?

Only really feasible on an ABS unit already equipped with it as its only a little bit of extra software then

Free yes, but accurate to within 30 psi either way! I always use my own digi job which I compared with a calibrated one.  :y
