Post by: Del Boy on 21 October 2010, 22:51:16
Lovely cars anyway, but don't these headlight eyebrows make a nice difference. I think that it looks stunning  :o

they certainly make more of a difference than normal, makes it look like a more 'modern' old Volvo 850

They're on the same list as X5's and Q7's ..... don't like them at all.  ::)

Very nice.. I imagine those braided hoses would wear straight through that intake pipe if it's aluminium, though (I nearly made the same mistake on the Nissan - caught it before they'd worn right through the inlet manifold, though :o )

i like how rigid the angles are on the 850 but as with most cars of that era the standard interior / dash layout is pretty rank. the worst is the xj6. beautiful to look at, horrid to be inside.

How many other engine mounts does it have, though?

It's a torque mount, so perhaps it has two mounts to rest on and one torque mount on the bulkhead? Gotta have something to stop the engine flopping around :)
