can you buy blank switches (if that makes sense)
i want to take one out and if i break it i would like to replace it/?

Yes you can  :y
Go on ebay, type 'Omega switches' and you'll find almost all the centre console switches.
I've never broken one when removing, I think it'd almost be impossible to break one however hard you tried. Just start at the bottom and prise them out...that is assuming it's a facelift.
