Title: Nice interior
Post by: mantahatch on 28 October 2010, 13:05:15
Check out the pictures of this Omega http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2000-VAUXHALL-OMEGA-2-0-GLS-AUTO-FULL-LEATHER-PART-EX-/180577404222?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2a0b40853e especially the interior pics. Look like someone has been busy. I actually think it looks good.

where the hell did he get that interior trim???

i'd be sorely tempted by all that fake wood, despite the silver in my Mv6 having started to grow on me....

I assume it is the stick on stuff but it looks like they have made a pretty good job of it.

Very nice, but short of 2 cylinders and 1.2 litres!!  ;D

I wouldn't mind that interior in my car though.....

Although the rest of my family prefer cloth upholstery to leather......

Dont mind wood, but too much is just tacky, BUT I dont dislike this, reminiscent of the Phantom dashboard?? Something about the way the round controls project through the veneer.

plus the overall shape of the centre of the fascia, too. Hmm, not too bad.

i've decided i like it....   but am utterly bemused that someone would go to all this trouble and expense on a bloody 2.0 GLS.

not AS keen on the two tone leather, but it's okay, but i do really like the fauxwood....

it sold for £750 it seems....

Sure a VERY easy car to strip for parts/make a profit? A real shame to, of course, I hate seeing perfectly usable cars being stripped.

I noticed that, too....a GLS??? Why? VERY strange. A bit like clarkson's point about personalised numberplates..if the bloke hadn't spent money on a personal plate on his BMW 316, he could have afforded a 318!!

Why go to all that extra expense to 'elitize' a GLS??
