Long, long shot. Anyone near this area, or on the way to this area, fancy looking after my doggie for 3 nights?
In a bit of a pickle here unfortunately - Kennels have shut before we could get there this morning, (dispite us calling and saying we were a mile away) - and simply cannot find anywhere to have our dog now.
Supposed to be checking in at 6pm, so unless we can find someone who wants to look after Lucy, we're :-X'ed and going to miss our flights, and holiday.
Bloody gutted :(

Unfortunately I can't help with looking afer the dog, but have a look on www.yell.com/ucs/HomePageAction.do under dog kennels. There are a fair number in the Notts area. Have a good hol, and send us a postcard!. :y

It's too late to go now, can't make the airport in time,
We're not going.
GUTTED :'(

Well, we are going camping in Devon.
Without a tent.
It's amazing what you can do with an Omega Estate.....
-
boulox! how gutting, sorry James!
You should have text me, i could have looked after her for you!
Ah well, good chance to stretch the legs of the new estate! :)
-
Better hope it doesn't sell whilst your camping in it James.....could be embarrassing ;)
-
What a shame >:(
If you want a tent and are passing near Alton on the way (unlikely) you're more than welcome.
Sleeping in a car is not ideal. Even a nice Omega Estate.

Cheers Kev,
We have a super tent, just can't be arsed to errect it in the rain!! We've got matress, and essentially a bed etc in the back of the Estate, SWMBO can sort out some form of curtains, and we'll be laughing!!!

Gutted for you James :(
At least your flights were cheap.
I'll be over there again a week on Fr, I'll have a pint of the black stuff for you ::)
-
I would have looked after the dog for you....trouble is the wife would kill me ......again.....and I'm running out of lives!
I would advise against sleeping in the car....its bloody cold and uncomfortable as the dam things dont breath like a tent does.

Why? Dows she have a temper then ;)
-
Reminds me of a holiday me and 3 friends had.
Borrowed a tent for me and one other, another had my tent and the last slept on the estate section of an old Avenger

"Why didn't you tell me you wouldn't be picking up Emma-Jo from Brownies?"

Having spent an uncomfortable night in the MV6 in a French layby (the year before the MV6 broke down in France) - long story based around not being able to find hotel - I can say its far from pleasant :(
