This statement "still 2.5 on log book (keeps ins down)" really inspires confidence in the seller. If he is prepared to lie about that to his insurance company, what does it say about his description.

I'd make sure it is a 3.0 if I were you. I don't think it is...

Well spotted, it appears the plenum is quite short, shorter than my 3.0 litre. Don't 2.5 engines have the shorter plenum I have heard on the forum? Perhaps the seller is trying to dupe buyers and not the insurance company?

Some 3L cars had the short plenum although there are small power gains to be had with the "droop snoop" longer plenum IIRCC

I know each to their own in styling and customising their cars, and especially to Omega's......

But to be honest, at first I thought the description sounded suspect (http://planetsmilies.net/smoking-smiley-5436.gif) (http://planetsmilies.net)

Then I looked at all the photos and was rather shocked by what had been done to it  (http://planetsmilies.net/shocked-smiley-9490.gif) (http://planetsmilies.net)

Then once I took it in........... Well......

Judging by the state of wear on the Hazard warning switch, I suspect lots of time spent at the road side...
