Feel free, it's a diy job, as most jobs are on here....entirely up to you. :)
But maybe take chill pill, so to speak, slow down a bit and go with the flow! I'm sure you'll find you'll settle in as most do.
....and tbh I'm surprised nobody has jumped on the text speak and punctuation, as forum guidelines. Hmm? ::). Although I see the question mark and speech mark keys work ok? But viewing your last 25 posts, it's not really "every post" is it! Let's be honest. :-?

I`ve had a look at some of your recent posts, Ady; I feel you might be misjudging OOF.....
....I saw nothing in those threads I looked-at, except ordinary personal-opinions and banter; yes, there are opinions contrary to your views, but that`s just normal forum interactions.
IMHO: very-very few people on this forum are here 'for an argument', or to agrandise themselves, or to put anyone-else down, rather they`re here to help; through mutual support, fellow Omega owners....surely, it would be better to stay around and give OOF`ers a fairer 'crack of the whip'. :y
Best wishes to you,
Deb.

calm down.. just watch some tv.. then re-read the posts ...
not something serious to delete your membership..

I'm sorry if we've (mods) missed something. I've not seen anything untoward, unless I've misread any reply :-/
Obviously, 2 different people will see 2 different messages in a written paragraph, esp on a internet community site like OOF.
Still, as Jimbob says, feel free to PM and grievence to any mod, if you still want to go, you can delete your account from your profile.
Whatever you decide, good luck :y

Aww, diddums, has someone upset you? why dont you tell your mummy about it :'(
if i had one i would you cock
i never said anyone had said anything untowards i said i get replies about things from people who dont know what there on about this is the wrong site for me thats all you all seem nice people but maybe not in my age range as you all seem to drive relaxing "standard" comfortable auto's

I don't think there's an age range not catered for here. There are lad in their very early 20s, loads of old(er) buggers like me in their 40s and those who are older still ;D ;D ;D
And there are loads who 'want to be in control' with an extra pedal ;) :y :y

Well he has owned & driven 400 odd vauxhalls since the 80's, so it's no wonder the Omega pushed the poor lad over the edge ::) ;D ;D ;D ;)
-
wonder if 399 of them were nova's and white.. ;D ;D

Bugger! He became an ex-member while I was typing! :-? :-? :-?
your fault then! ;D
-
These comments made me smile to be honest.
"Maybe not in my age range" and "you all seem to drive relaxing standard comfortable autos".
Couldn't of been a member for long, as there's a vast range of ages on here, so when I here a number older than me, I feel ever soo young again ::) .
And as for the relaxing standard comment, think that was bit of a dig that were all from the driving miss daisy brigade :P ::) .
So he hasn't read the thread of people who have modified their cars then :-? .
Trouble is if he want's to join us again because he has a problem, people on here haven't got short memories ::) , Trouble is if he want's to join us again because.........
Okay so some have trouble :P ;D .

No point at all, but it passes the time & gives us all something to talk about. ::) ::) ::)
PS we have post mortems on this side of the Atlantic ;) ;)

Point taken - but it has more words and letters, so my finger will get tired quicker. :P ;D

Perhaps we need a waving goodbye smiley. ;D

i don't consider myself old as many on here don't opioninated maybe! but all the same i think he must be young as he has a very thin skin ;D but i am a newbie here and i certainly feel the people on here are trying to help whilst having a bit of banter and i can accept banter especially with some of the rubbish questions i ask but in the end someone will pop up with a link or a solution and i am very much appreciative of that due to my complete inexperience with omegas and in recent years my lack of confidence with home repair, this site is so specific it lets me wield a spanner without angst! :y F!%K Ady I say and good riddance to someone who doesn't realise what a wealth of knowledge he's giving up and good people to boot after a while you see the regular posters and respect grows as these are people that take time from their day to help others all I can say is from my experience is I wouldn't be without OOF :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :y

Indeed!
Perhaps this smiley might be appropriate for 'haughty' departures: (http://thump01.pbase.com/o6/61/114161/1/86440219.RjTzeCqh.2self-abuser.gif)

Man... who pissed in his Cheerios? ;D
Maybe it's just me, but he obviously had a short temper, and seemed to make a mountain out of a molehill.
Heck, I'm young (22), but it doesn't mean I'm gonna leave like a pissy little whiner! 8-)

Oops, and I'm 75 full Yrs, and think miggy and oof help to make life still well worth living !!

I'm not going to get into the age thing, but memory is good enough to remember birthdays with a 5 in front.. :-[ I reckon he must have been part of the 10% Josh worries about ?? Why do so many of these youngsters think that 'the world started when they were born' ? Since joining this forum, I have enjoyed it immensely. Many groups/forums I have belonged too, that have as many members as this one, are indeed 'quite hard work', in as much as they seem to contain little groups of buddies who, don't take too kindly to new gatecrashers, but I have found that many on here try to help with a problem, not to mention the easily acquired expertise that saves Miggy owners a lot of money. Mentioning Josh, 20 years old, and a nicer feller you couldn't wish to meet. I was lucky enough to buy Chrisgixers Miggy, bothered him with a couple of texts, as you do when you're a 'boring old fart', he phoned very quickly, 'end of problem'. Now, I have met many who would have said, 'not my car anymore mate'. At the Oxford meet The Boy spent longer than I could expect of anyone, sorting a couple of problems on my car, 'did he accept payment' ? Not a bit of it, nor did he say, 'well, if you want to book it in' etc. A fantastic site, helpful people, WITHOUT all the stupid cursing and name calling that seems to abound these days. I hope I don't get into trouble for this comment but, 'glad to see the likes of you leave mate'.... ;)

I think you're right. He seemed to have a really hard time understanding the reasons behind it too.
Anyway, he went off in a huff and that's his problem. Some other forum can enjoy his expertise and unique form of discussion. Can't say I'll miss him.
-
Strange. Very strange.
I think that British irony can often transfer poorly when you just have the words, without hearing how its meant to be said.
When I say ''Oh what a genius i am'' or indeed ''You pillock!'' It's a safe bet I actually mean the exact opposite.
On those grounds.... Oh what a nice bloke he was. :)

his missus.
Oh dear :-? Is that another assumption? ::)
I'd be surprised if he had one. Oops there goes another one :-X
