I was up early this morning to take Burt for his MOT & as of my other thread we've had loads of snow. I rang the garage to how bad it was in Derby, "it's fine here & the roads are clear".
I set off in the seven inches we have here, i couldn't get off the estate ;D I went the long way around through the industrial estate. I eventually got to the A38 which had standing traffic north bound & very slow moving south so i turned around & came back home.
Now i was following a Rover 25 doing a steady pace until he decided to stop at the lights on a hill that had just that second changed to red (there was nothing waiting on the side road to come out). My first thought was if i stop now on this hill with this muppet, i'll be stuck here so i overtook him & kept going. I know for a fact that i'd would have had to abanden my Mig at the side of the road, which wasn't gona happen, that would've caused even more problems for many more drivers approaching the lights >:(
He's now back in the garage & that's where he'll stay until the roads clear :)

We have only had the tinyiest of a dusting here, but the MID read -6 at around 12:30 last night, so bet its slippery ;D
Not enough snow for a snowball fight, think I'll stay indoors ;D

had it very very cold here, but yet no snow at all
looking out of my window i'd be led to believe its in double figures of warmth, but i'm no fool!!
no clouds, for the 5th day running, which isnt bad

Tons of the white stuff here in York - it's just stopped after two hours, dumping a good 3" of it.
Needless to say, the Omega won't be moving far - I'll stick to the Vectra or the wife's HR-V.............

Nothing here few flakes earlier today, but nothing that had any chance of laying, it's just freezing instead. No snowball fights yet :-/
