Title: Wedding ribbons
Post by: Del Boy on 27 November 2010, 15:56:42
Got to use my 5 series for a wedding, how long do the ribbons need to be does anyone know? Got to be roughly the same size as an Omega would use?

Just go to a local flower shop and buy some ribbon. A family member had to do this not so long ago. It was cheap for a long length of ribbon, I think it was £5 for a large role.
Maybe Del, you'll have to treat yourself again and get another Mercedes, at least it'd be easier to affix the ribbon to the front with the star  ;D

Hey

dont know if you know but wedding ribbons leave marks on your paintwork from them fluttering around in the wind, they cause feathering to the paint surface which is a pain in the rectum to remove.

up to you matey  ;)

if you ave access to a garage use a good quality wax and do the panels that the ribbons will be resting on, if at all possible get satin ribbons not the cheap plastic/pvc type, far better for the paintwork  :y

my mate has the 750 bmw (5.7) lovely smooth and powerfull and heavy on juice about 13-25mpg.
I told him he was off his head buying it as it's now sat idle for 2 months as he can't afford fuel. ;D

Only a 730d would be for me, also the easiest to sell once I'm done :)
