Post by: Jaymd on 06 December 2010, 18:15:46
As im sure you can see most of my posts are in the general help area i have found quite a few problems with my omega. it has covered just over 151k miles and im iffing and butting wetaher to change the engine or to do the work to the current one? i bought the car for £700 with a years MOT and 3 months tax on a W plate. is that a good price?

tad high for a 2.2 imo, can get a nice v6 with decent trim for around 1k

i was thinking about changing her i havent even had her a month yet lol but i thought it was a  bargain for such a good looking car and what a beauty to drive minus the smell of burning oil and certain other misshapses :P but over all i still want to stick with an omega even though ive bought a bit of a dog or rescued i still love her. whats the fuel like on a 2.5 v6?

fuel consumption for the 2.5 is actually better than the 2.2 if you behave, and if you want to misbehave its got the power to do so.
