Title: Glittery Xenon bulb?
Post by: Del Boy on 09 December 2010, 14:44:10
My son noticed today that my passenger side xenon look glittery on the big Beemer, both bulbs are about 2 months old both with new ballast packs. It's the first I've noticed it, but my son says it was like it since we put them in. Couple of pictures on route any ideas what this could be?

TIA.

Good bulb:

Glittery bulb:

Hopefully you can see the difference.

I have seen similar in the past, and it was down to rather a lot of sanding dust from the bodyshop.

Looks like dust caught in the lens... the bit you can see is only a lens, not the bulb.
