8-) Nice!......but I`m not sure about the relative proportions of the wheels. :-?
-
nice car not sure on the wheels though :y i like the grille
-
they're off the mk5/6 golf gti, i gotta be honest, i absolutely love them [smiley=laugh.gif]
-
I'd say get them beefy sport bumpers, I'm sure they do sports bumpers on the Bora? It's a very nice car though I like it :y
-
They're a lovely solid, well put together motor & yours is a eye catcher :y
-
thank you :y they do a couple of good kits, but pricey!
apart from the alloys, the rest of the little touches have cost very very little
-
aeye, tidy.
nearly bought one too. :y
-

Lovely looking cars - I like the 1970s Italian stuff
-
looks like it has been squashed :)
-
Have to be honest, think the wheels look out of place.
However if you like them, thats all that matters! :y
Looks nice otherwise IMO :)
-
didnt realise vw made such a thing!
-

Not sure i'd pay the premium for one of those, that kinda money rather look at Monaro or second hand M5
-
I do really like the mk5/6 GTi, but not sure i'd have one, since i cant afford one!
this car only stands me at £1200, so i cant complain :y

I like my boras and your wheels are real nice i think :y
Not really liking the grill - it looks a bit too agressive and like something is missing.
-
Yes i'm still unsure about the grille, gonna leave it on for a few weeks to see if it grows on me, and i'm gonna get a small badge to stick on the mesh off to one side and see how that looks :y

That's a good idea and could well end up with the result you're after without too much expense :y

Slammed with some 15" euro wheels seems the way to go. I like Bora's anyway.
-
Good luck with it.
The Bora i had was the most uncomfotable god awful pile of crap i ever had to drive.
A '51' plate 1.6, had some 'go' (for a 100bhp 1.6), but the seating position was about as comfortable as sitting on a bed of nails.
I had it as a company car, was working in Cardiff so used to make sure i had to stop for fuel during the 200 mile trip so i could get out and get some feeling back in my legs and stretch my back. Reading services on the M4 was about as far as i could go in one hit!
Had been doing the trip in a Mondeo then a '51' plate Transit pick up and i could get to Cardiff in either without a single ache!
What with that and the constantly failing known to be faulty coil packs that VW would only change if they failed not during a sevice i was glad to give it back after doing 40k in 11 months (had 11k on the clock when i was 'given' it)
:)

really like the wheels , needs lowering 60mm though
-
i use it for work so it's often loaded up, so i dont wanna lower it to be honest, i'm happy with it as it is now
its perfectly comfortable for me too, though its never gonna be an omega!
-
and a very nice one of that...youngsters of today eh??? :y
