Title: Selling cats
Post by: I_want_an_Omega on 18 December 2010, 11:03:33
Hi,

What's the best way of selling V6 cats? I've been told that scrappies only pay a small amount for them. Any help appreciated.

Thanks - Rob

Take them to the place where the scrap yards sell them...
E.M.R. give good money around this neck of the woods.

I don't see the point of giving you a phone number for my local branch.
Use Google to see if they have a branch nearer to you.

When you scrap the cats, do they need to be complete for a good price?

Im after the section of pipe which bolts onto the manifold (so could be cut just before the cat section somewhere).  :-?

No, sometimes the chaps at the yard cut off any excess tube from the cat so they can check the innards of the cat haven't been removed.
