Missus has a Mondeo but the code that came with it clearly isn't right! About to be locked out permanently if I mess up much more.
Anyone know a way round this or know anyone near Aylesbury who could unlock it?
-
My Father`s Mondeo radio locked him out last year......I Googled and downloaded an application from t`internet that gave you the unlock-code digits if you entered the serial number from the side of the radio.
....can`t for the life of me find the application now. :-[

Brilliant idea but the code doesn't appear to be the original (as I've tried that one.) Therefore suspect that won't work. Tempted to try but I think I've only got 2 chances left!

Go to your local car spares shop....
They will probably know someone local who will unlock it for you. There are a couple of people by us who do it and charge £15 to £20 depending how many chances are left. Apparently the fewer chances left means it takes longer for some reason.

Pull the radio out and give me the 7 figure serial number starting with M and I'll get the code for you :y
-
Some of the code calcs produce incorrect codes, so only try once!
Grrrr - only car audio specialist I know in Aylesbury is Edworthy's on Gatehouse Industrial Estate... ...assuming they are still there (I moved from Aylesbury 10 years ago)

Thanks Welung666 but clearly it has been recoded (I have original) so don't think serial number will help.
I'll take a sniff round Gatehouse at the weekend and see if Edworthy's are there. Worse case scenario I can probably get a replacement from the scrappy for £20.
Cheers all,
J

the unit may have been replaced at some time so wellungs suggestion is a good one, each serial number has its own code.worst case scenario is that he will give you the code you already have so nothing lost :y
