Just what you need on New Year Eve at 7 in the morning! I can see it costing me a new tyre too.  :'(

You'll have to dig your tub of Vasaline out, put your sailors suit on and get down the town hall ;D

Bibendum is only smiling 'cos it missed him.   ;D

Looks like a new tyre needed but they might do a temp repair, given you only do short, low speed journeys until payday...  :y

I put a pair on mine a few weeks ago Andy.  Goodyear F1's, £230 fitted and balanced.  Kinda took the edge of the Christmas shopping, though....

A temp repair isn't really practical given that I don't need the Omega for work & most of the Omega's use is when towing the caravan. A rear tyre going while towing isn't what I'd particularly want.  :y

I'll drop it off on my way from work next week.  :y

I'd stick a runner on if it was me tbh. Part warn from Germany type thing. Or at least until the other side is gone, then fit I nice pair. :). I prefer tyre shopping tbh  :-/  ;)

All four were put on in June 2009, since when I've possibly 8 or 9000 miles  :-/

Mr Michelin Man waving & a big M is a bit of a give-away!  ;D  ;D  ;D
I've never had any problems with them, & I've had a few set via Costco over the years.  :y

I didn't find Costco competitive for tyres - not that I'm a fan of Michelin anyway. Mine are 235/45/17, and when I last checked, Costco wanted just shy of £150 by the time VAT was added...  ...online (fully fitted) prices were cheaper at the time for the Pilot Sport 3's

The same size as this then. The last tyres I had from there I think were on a 4 for the price of 3, around £450 for the four of them. 17" were actually cheaper than the 16" that should really be on the car.

It cost me £40 for a vulcanised repair.  :( Better than forking out for a new one.  :y
