Title: 2000 Elite TD Estate
Post by: joshwyatt on 13 January 2011, 20:37:12
Just thought I'd give a quick heads up to anyone looking for a TD Elite estate.
It has a private registration currently, DOR is 24/05/2000
I would assume it's a facelift, but there are no pictures currently.
It's done 93,144 miles
Vauxhall Omega 2.5 TD Auto Elite estate in silver.
To be auctioned at BCA Walsall on the 20th of January.

It could be a nice little project though  ::)
I've got a 2000 Omega 3.0 manual, you could take the gearbox out of that and swap them over  ;D

If anyone's interested in the vehicle, I'm more than happy to go with them and use my trade plates to drive the vehicle with my trade policy. BCA sites are seeing a lot of recent police interest ensuring cars leaving are all appropriately taxed and insured.

Don't get him started Josh.

You'll end up collecting it, driving it, delivering it it to him before you've realised it.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

won't take you long G to make it a manual  ;)

Might be worth getting, then sourcing any old shed of a 2.5 for its manual box?

that would suggest he'd leave it NOT chipped. He'd need a spare 3.0 car  ;) ;)

That's very generous Josh, if it was a bit younger I might have been interested as a spare. :y

easy enough to do of course, and i could use my old one as a donor no problem, as its is slowly disolving and me mig is bust at the moment, waiting for spares from uk to fix it, however apart from a couple of patches needed welding in there is absolutley nothing wrong with it, so may as well carry on with it for now, however i do keep me eyes peeled for another manual estate with relatively low mileage,as mine has only 140k on the clock now and still uses no oil between changes, its hardly worth the effort to change the sludgepump may as well buy a manual to start with!! :y
