Alright, last video I post for a while, I promise.
So if drift racing in a car is dumb .. what about doing it on a bike?

(I think I'd rather have the LS powered RX-7, though..)

Dumb but talented, to an extent, that swing arm is cheating though, definitely. ;D
Plus he's got too small a section tyre on that rim making the edges more pointy. He's bloody confident he won't get run over too. :y
Video quality was awesome. :)

I don't think I'd want to do that with a couple of tons of car bearing down on me :)
I think my favourite bit was the chase cam on the little RC car though ;D
-
I'd like to see him do that with my GS :D

Yes, I thought that impressive indeed. Strangely enjoyable. :y

I think he'd struggle with my Bandit 1200 as well ;D

Yes, even though I'm not in the least interested in any type of sport I still find this thrilling and will admit to having watched (and enjoyed) M/C competition on more than one occasion.
Racing on closed roads is the most breathtaking. (For me at least)

Isle of man and some of the Irish road racing stuff I find more more difficult to watch tbh, the slightest mistake and......wince :-/
I wish they could get those guys on short circuits where there some run off, some real talent over in Ireland ESP.

As a kid I was taken to Dundrod at Ulster Grand Prix time. My uncle was a lover of the sport and ran some sort of Norton (can't remember the size) but the thing I do remember is the screaming of the machines as they whizzed past and the heady aroma of petrol and oil.
He tried to get me interested in bikes but being the odd wee bastaad that I was I preferred to slope off on my own to either read or sit and think. ;D ;D
Although I understand the physics of how the machines remain upright - when common sense should suggest otherwise - I remain entranced when I see a bike lean over to that extent. 8-)

When you watch motorbike powerslide film clips you just know that good old Gary McCoy has to be in there somewhere. He featured at least three times in the video that Chris posted. :y :y
