Title: Cheapest Petrol in your Area?
Post by: Lizzie_Zoom on 16 January 2011, 15:22:16
I have come across this very useful site that includes a map at the bottom of the page which as you move around it shows the filling stations in your area, along with their current fuel prices if you click on their flags!

http://www.whatprice.co.uk/petrol-prices/petrol-area.html

It may just help! 8-) 8-) ;)

Well spotted Lizzie,

A lot better than trying to keep your eye out when driving around looking to see how much and trying to remember which station it was  :y

I use that Petrol-Prices one.  Its pretty good for normal fuels, but LPG info is a bit hit and miss due to the way the site gets it's data (collates from fuel card purchases).

Thanks, this is quite handy to find the petrol stations en route to work just off the motorway :)

you can update your prices yourself, which in a way isn't a very good thought-out idea

i've just changed my local morrisons to 93.9 petrol and 96.9 diesel

Not much use. All the prices near me are months out of date.

http://www.petrolprices.com is the most accurate for petrol and diesel, as stated earlier.  It doesn't always show LPG though.

Need to sign up to do searches though, but is free :)
