Well, after many years of owning many Omegas (Since 1995) i have finally driven my last one, she is now up for sale, all the Irmscher full body kit including the wheels and back box will go with her, i would more than likely get more by selling the kit separatly but must let her go in one piece.
Now looking whats out there to compete with the Omega, i know there are plenty but its what your used to and the Omega has been a very faithfull car over the years and never been let down by one. :-[ :-[ :'(

Well that does make sense!
I must say that since driving one at Millbrook, I fancy the 2.8i V6 24v Turbo 4x4 Elite Auto Saloon. I should think that would meet your needs for pulling a pikey wagon, sorry, caravan! :D :D ;)

New SAAB 95 2.8 V6 Turbo 300 BHP although only with an auto which I'd want changed but :-* :-* :-*
The new 95 though is one gorgeous car.

Nice car true enough but personally I prefer to tow with a rear wheel drive car.
Vectra 2.8 V6 Turbo 4wd is exactly the same engine as the Saab but the one I took around millbrook wasn't a patch on a 3.2 Omega and was bloody cramped for someone my height.
Hate to say it but when I look to change (which won't be for a while!) the only car that I like the look of is the current 5 Series.....

Just had a look at those on autotrader :y

It's just a shame that the dash looks so vile imho.

Yep, I have seen better layouts

Just seen the pics and stunning looking car. I will also be moving on very shortly to something else and will miss mine when it goes - have considered keeping it but it will just sit on the drive and be another car to wash at weekends. Good luck with the sale and the new car :y

4 wheel drive SAAB 95 2.8 would be a great tow car. I can't recommend the 5 Series highly enough, I'm getting another once I've sold this one.

Didn't realise it was 4WD. :)
Slightly stretched Insignia chassis on looking it up. Seems to have a better dash (not as wrapped around as the Insignia one which made it feel very cramped to me).

Current F10 5 series is a great car with a very nice selection of engines :y
-
F10 is lovely, cancelled my X5 and plan to order a f10 535d when the 11 plate comes out :) I'll be getting an 07/08 530d next with a slush box. I need a comfy car now and fuel economy, M3 must go :'(

yep.. I dont know what to get.. the models that attract me like miggy requires serious amounts of money compared to miggy even second hand.. and I dont want to sell both cars and pay extra for another and start from 0..nope..
and looking at friends who bought brand new cars and starting problems at age 2-3.. my cars are better.. ;D

I have the same problem with replacing the MR2 .. the only thing that really seems to tick all the boxes is a late model (993 or 997.5) Porsche 911 .. and they are still a tad out of my price range.
Much to my disappointment after passengering on track in a friends 997.5. I really shouldn't have done that! :'(

as another member said, I'll be burried with my miggy.. ;D

My sentiments exactly, though personally I quite fancy a Volvo V70 D5 Estate 7-seater manual - say an '05 MY jobbie.
Although it'd accommodate all the 'second-generation Sethsmates' with ease, they're FWD.
Haven't heard any adverse reports about 'em towing-wise though.
And they seem to command silly money. :(
