Title: Peugeot 307 1.4 help
Post by: Del Boy on 23 January 2011, 18:00:54
I've just got in a 2004 '04' Peugeot 307 1.4, does anyone know when the fans are supposed to cut in? It's got a bit of history with water troubles.

TIA.

i would have thought that it would cut in at around the 90-95 mark as with most cars tho i've no direct experience with a 307, and i'm no mechanic

has it gone beyond 95, or actually properly gone too far at all??

someone told me to steer clear of 307's due to electrical faults when i told them i'd been offered one as a swap for my bora a couple of weeks back

I think it went pass the 95 mark, but I can't be 100% sure, anyone know the rad fan switch location?

Del ,has the car got aircon,if so switching it on should activate the fans so long as the system is still gassed

Around the thermostat area, if memory serves...
I'm in the middle of replacing a few bent valves on a Meganne.

I HATE French cars, they fight you all the way.
