Title: rust on my omega :(

noticed a few months back i had some rust over drivers side rear wheel arch. painted the rust remover on, undercoated it and painted.

just noticed its back!

thats what ill be doing this weekend t hen  >:( >:(

It very rarely NEVER comes back....unless you remove the panel, slaughter a chicken, drap ethe entrails over the panel, light a fire, and bury it in a field on the summer solstice.

Oh, and the chicken has to be a virgin, too. (At least that's what a bodyshop bloke told me)  :y

I find the best way is to grind in necessary off all traces of the rust, then apply anti-rust solution (sounds a bit overkill, but theres no such thing as rust overkill in my book!) then fill if necessary, then paint. Also I've given up using drill with wire brush attachments, anglegrinder with wirebrush is far more effective.  :y :y

is this how  the job went?
 30 mins looking at it.20 mins having a cup of tea.15 mins getting tools out,45 mins going to the shop to get the bits,20 mins for another cup of tea,15 mins talking to a mate on the phone,5 mins sanding,5 mins of paint ,more tea, then putting the tools back.........

hahahaha r1, you forgot about the scratching the balls!!! that took 3 lots of 60 minutes murhahaha
