Did anyone see Wheeler Dealers late last night/this morning?
unless I am that sad, someone else must be that mad as me.
Their project to do up and sell was this monster :y :y
Finished article after engine rebuild and repsray + all other jobs was awesome. I now it was a repeat, but what a car.
A neighbour has one and they are worlds apart. I scream "whats he done to it" >:( >:( >:(

Better if it was kept as 4 wheel drive.

True.
Just a thout, it was a saloon and probably wanted it to be more accessible :question

That is the only Sierra I really wanted to drive, but never did! :P :P :'( :'( :'(
I would certainly love to have a mint example now 8-) 8-)

That's the problem. Most are far from mint.
Engines go nicely in a kit car, though, and are built like a brick outhouse. ;D

My cousin had a sapphire cozzy 2wd and that was a quick car, handled well too but lots of steer from the rear on wet roads :o

I've had two - 2wd and 4wd. Much preferred the 2wd, more fun!
The Wheeler Dealers one, wasnt that impressed. I hope they replaced the cam belt!

Mines a 2WD :y, The 4WD you have to learn how to drive them, the 2WD you just learn how not to crash them.
Great engines though. :y

A mate of mine has a Dax Rush with Cosworth 4x4 running gear. Loopy machine. ;D Having seen it on track it's clear that cornering and accelerating are two mutually exclusive phases of driving though. ;D

Sounds like some of the expensive metal I was on track with at Anglesey (like the big Merc) - pootle round the corner then rocket off in the distance.. only to be caught up at the next corner ;D

This was more like.. "right, I'm applying some steering input, and a bit more.. and a bit more.. and now I actually want it to turn in <lifts off><round corner><plants it>".
It gave a whole new meaning to the expression "straight line speed". ;D
