To be honest, I've got a huge soft spot for the Maybach, I've only ever seen one and the was the 57, even that was huge  :o I honestly think they're the ultimate in luxury, closely followed by the Rolls Royce Phantom.

I think that they are really ugly which is strange as merc make some good looking cars

Phantom looks majestic,and Maybach looks like a piece of sh... (our mayor owns one privately).
Funny how they messed up maybach looks since the contemporary S class was a great looking car

The Maybach proves three things:

• Mercedes can't create a beautiful car for toffee.  Every square inch, inside and out, is clunky, clumsy and downright awful 
• The same company does have an equally stunning ability to get rich fools to part with large amounts of their cash
• Money certainly does not buy you good taste[/olist]
  
  They are charmless, vulgar wealth statements, a hideous overblown creation the likes of Donatella Versace or her equally plastic followers would enjoy.

i agree the maybach fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down......

but mercedes have brought out sum beautiful cars.

the slr and the sls immediately spring to mind. :)
