can anyone confirm weather the 2.6 cdx exhaust is the same as the 2.5?
-
pretty confident they are but in some cases the tip of the exhaust needs extending slightly with a chrome tip, not sure which way round though i,e facelift/non facelift! fill your profile in mate, can prove useful if you need help :y

ive already filled it in what else should i put?

Location mate, a lot of people here have diagnostic kit, break cars and are willing to lend a hand when your stuck. Just a thought !

Centre and rear sections for the exhaust are compatible between 2.5 and 2.6.
More correctly, the facelift cars (early ones had the 2.5 engine before the 2.6 came in) had a slightly different exhaust setup to the prefacelift mainly because the rear bumpers are a little more "chunky" so the exhaust was a couple of inches longer to clear it.
So, if the 2.6 isn't listed, look for a later model 2.5 first. If the listings for a 2.5 exhaust stop at 1998-1999 or so you are probably looking at a prefacelift exhaust.
For practical purposes a prefacelift exhaust will fit perfectly OK. The centre sections should be identical. The only difference is that the rear section tailpipe might be a little short, in which case some chrome trims from an accessory shop will tidy them up.
3.0 / 3.2 centre sections will be the same as well. A 3.0/3.2 rear section will have a twin exit tailpipe instead of the single exit the 2.5/2.6 normally has.
EDIT: to say www.eternalcar.com are about the best value exhausts in our collective experience.
