Title: corsa b hand brake cable replacement

my mrs has just come in and says the handbrake feels funny so i go out and check and theres nothing there.....look under the car and can see the rh side cable hangin  down.so does anyone no if its a 2 or 3 piece cable? might as well replace the lot while iam at it else the other side will break next week for sure >:(
any tips/proplems im lickly to come across when doing the job.

well got the old cable off but i cant remove the adjuster  >:(as its seized on the old cable,is it a main dealer only part?

Penetrating fluid and heat, always works.

TBH, never had to much trouble with these.

Two different types depending on chassis number and they are on TC so not alot of cash

 hi thanks for the replies
well its soaking in a pot of diesel at the moment as it wont shift,might have to bite the bullet and buy a new one.not surprised that theres 2 as theres about 4 diffrent cables for it.

just to let people know the diesel worked :) and have now got the adjuster off.thanks to Andy for his help.
