Ah but then the dream takes root.. and you find yourself requesting price lists.. and realising that it's going to cost nearly £40k to build the car you want.
Then the dream turns to tears and rage.
I mean. Er. Not that I'd know.

The only time I've ever been worth 'millions' was when I was in Turkey. IIRC £1 = 500 000TL but you've since knocked 3 zeros off your currency. :y :y :y :y

The only time I've ever been worth 'millions' was when I was in Turkey. IIRC £1 = 500 000TL but you've since knocked 3 zeros off your currency. :y :y :y :y
after you we knocked another 3 zeroes ;D and enter the region of decimal points which caused big hassle in programs :-/

I went to Istanbul in the early 80s on HMS Fearless when there was I think around 500TL to £1 and had a 20TL note (yellow IIRC) I should have kept it. ;) ;)

Another place to be an 'easy' millionaire was Poland in the late 80's, the Zloty exchange rate at the time was very favourable as a tourist.
Indonesia is the current 'easy' millionaire country at the moment £100 will get you approx 1,426,000 Indonesian Rupiah :o
