MY 2000 on a "W". Facelift 2.5 CDX Estate. 96K, bodywork really good. MOT failure;
Low aim both H/lights (poss, sensor arm?)
All pads low
Both rear brakepipes corroded
Both front balljoints U/S
Insufficient screenwash from both jets
Worn idler arm
What do you reckon is a decent buy price :-/
-
£750
-
£750
That much as it stands :-?
-
If the MOT has expired and assuming no tax... No more than £500... I'd start closer to £350 ;)
Is it generally in good nick or not? Leather/cloth etc?
-
£750 is a lot, can't see it making that. Would need a decent amount of MOT and Tax to reach that.
I'd say closer to £400
-
Yeah.
But I'm no authority on it, I'm sure someone else will pipe up soon enough.
Find out the book price for it, then deduct the cost to get it fixed.
Ohh I assumed it had the tax already. :P
-
Id pay a monkey for it :y

If youve been offered it for less and its clean body work then probably worth a punt Rob.
Chris.

if its less than £350 then you could weigh it in and get most of that back :y
-
What kind of price do you get for a weigh in nowadays? (i'll assume 350 is optimistic :) )
-
I weighed in a rover 620 ti just before christmas,that made £190 :D
-
£140 max, this neck of the woods.
-

it seems to vary around the country,a mate weighed in a 1.2 corsa since christmas and that made £135
