Title: 2 trip computers

is this standard on elite or is it an upgrade via tech 2

Do you mean the trip milage via the MID/CID/GID/etc & the mechanical trip on the odometer? :-/ It's standard. ;)

As above if you mean the mechanical one on the dash and electronic version in the MID then yes, even poverty spec CD models come with it  :P

sorry guys i dont think ive been clear

basically my last omega was 2001 elite on a x plate
and im sure that the gid had like 2 trip settings
1 wich i used when i filled the tank
and the second i used for journeys

but just got into my mates elite and he only ha 1 trip meter

All post 1998 MIDs have same functionality (except GID/CID don't have stopwatch). Pre 1998 MIDs have same functions except no Trip Distance and no Trip Consumption.

guys im not talking about the mechanical one

on the electroinc dispaly where its says (trip consumption)

im sure i had
trip cons 1 and then if i pressed the button it would show trip cos 2

I should have got a v6 gls instead of a cdx then. Its horrible to know that you have averaged 18 mpg that week.

I know what you mean, yes it does....., I reset my consumption every time I fill up gives my an average consumption, or even instant consumption, and there is a trip for distance..... :)

Not on any standard Omega display
