Did you get fitted with concrete wellies at birth to keep you rooted in a previous generation?

Although I could never see myself in one of these 'new' cars I think that's a more than reasonable statement Mr G.
-
It's not a proper Mini, but it's a Mini nonetheless. Possibly one of the best handling cars I've ever owned.

Isn't it a "MINI" not a "Mini"? I seem to recall from previous rants from folks ;D
(It's a BMW to me, though)
-
Well I like it Del, I loved the original Minis, I had three, but these are not to be sniffed at :y
-
Just thank God it's not a Maxi Del! ;D
-
Not driven the most recent facelift one, but previous one wasn't that great for handling. Bloody awful seat as well - 20mins is about my limit in them

within that time, using the city surrounding motorways I can pass the whole city ;D if someone pays the fuel :-/
I like that cars too.. but supercharged models can drink fuel like a miggy if you hammer them..
wish they were cheaper here.. :-/

I first consciously came across one of those Mini "Countryman" things on the road this morning. OMG. ;D
Talk about a gopping car. :o

Handles fantastic barring the Tyres, and the seats are superb, been out since 9 this morning, with a couple of coffee breaks all's well in the back :)

How about this.. A series block, BMW K1 motorcycle head, fuel injection and throttle bodies, in an original Mini shell.

A nice idea. I've heard about those conversions. What's wrong with the BMW block that normally goes with the head, though? :-/
