Title: What a 1st class pillock
Post by: TheBoy on 05 March 2011, 19:52:15
What the hell was I smoking??

Why on earth did I think it would be a good idea to reset my LPG ECU to factory, without noting down the sensor settings.

Guess what I'm doing tomorrow  :-[

oops .. :(

Guess we've all done something similar sometime ... :(

At least you know how, and have the kit, to recover the situation !!

Yeah, just need to work out sensor types, and then go through recalibrating the tank gauge.  Map calibration is no biggie, as it needed recalibration (hence why I was plugged in).

"Oh cock"

Fairly sure Kevin's guide has a screen shot of the correct sensors for you ;)

what a muppet, i've not touched the LPG mapping on mine since conversion.

I guess I should really set my fuel gauge up right, but I'm used to it now

It's about time you did then... The diaphragm in the vaporiser will have stretched and settled now so needs re-mapping ;)

It does switch to petrol much more often when 'pressing' on, used to go 4.5k rpm 9 times out of 10 without it switching, now can't really go past 4k rpm without it switching.

I was putting it down to the cold weather  :-/

That isn't my car - my Plus ECU doesn't talk to that old software.

Can you remember my vapouriser sensors (for gas/coolant temp)?

I have an issue where my BLMs are growing too high on LPG

OK, gave it an initial calibration, not really had to touch the map - the autocalibration was surprisingly good :o.  I was even impressed that the lag has disappeared, was feeling good for myself, then remembered I think its cutting back to petrol at 6500rpm ::). Need another play, but had to come home as the bloody forum had died :(

At WOT, should the lamdas read high or low (assuming high?)
