Title: loss of power engine managment light on?????

driving back from work tonight and the management light came on? the car seems sluggish and slow to pick up through the rev range! can anyone help

you need to do a 'pedal trick' and get a fault code.
Press accelerator & brake all the way down, turn on ignition & count the flashes from the EML  :y

you get a 4 digit code which gives you an idea of what your car is complaining about.  :y :y

If you turn the engine off and then on - does the light go off and car run normally?

You need to read codes as said but if after turn off and then turn on the car runs fine and light goes off then I think it is a crank sensor - I have some experience!!
