Title: Do you think my cambelt needed changing?

Did the cambelt kit, on the 3.2 MV6 today.

As you can see, the 1-3-5 bank was a little retarded:

And - the tension certainly wasn't "within limits".... :D

Now corrected -

New Cambelt Kit
New Water Pump
New Aux belt wheel
New Aux belt
5litres Longlife coolant

All set up correctly using the kit...

All Genuine GM components... £238 lighter, but much happier it's done!!

I would guess that the last change was done without the correct kit ;) ;)

Yes, looks like it was one of those tyre/clutch type outfits...

It's all good now, though! :D

to  be honest mate I'm only doing short local runs, so hard to tell, at the moment...

Any chance we can sort out that key sometime soon buddy? :y
