Title: LPG down 2P
Post by: Ken T on 10 March 2011, 21:26:47
My local filling station in Batley has reduced LPG from 71.9p down to 69.9p. Thats nice, nearly a quid per fill up saved. Is this the start of an overall reduction do you think ?.

LPG prices suffer a lag of about 6-8 weeks and are more closely related to Domestic Gas prices than Crude Oil... It should go down a little more, although it'll go up again >:(

I passed the one on the A12 today near the new junction at colchester stadium. I think it was 74.9p. Might try to pay a visit soon. ;)

I wasn't sure if it was 74.9 or 75.9 when I passed the other week... Cheap for a BP :y :y The Total on the A12 southbound just after the A120-Stansted is normally reasonably priced :y

Funny you should say that... I considered switching from oil to tanked gas as you can have the pump and metering system fitted (at extra cost) and then just pay the duty :y

Not really a viable option for me though ;) ;)

Lots of hoops to jump through and probably a rental to pay too... But if you do I know where I'm filling up when down that way :-X ::)

My last 3 fills have been 74.9p, 69.9p and 72.9p. The 69.9p was at ASDA Cribbs Causeway, Nr Bristol off the M5  :y

When I first had my Mig, LPG was about 34p.... :'(

Seem to remain static around these parts for quite a while (since the big hike just post Christmas.

73.9p at my usual place.

With Petrol around £1.35 and the smelly stuff at over £1.40, LPG is working for me currently.
