how many of you have changed a rear wheel bearing on a estate ,nightmare right up to the point half ten at night when you find out the new one is the wrong one brillient,
so i reckon it took me and a freind about 5 hours in total.
but still better than paying a garage for 3-4 hours labour for a £28 bearing.
runs so smooth now i can hear a creaking in my drivers door ? now whot 8-)

When opening/closing the door?
Probably the bush in the control stay - a few pennies from your local Vx people, and a few minutes to change!

yep just did nearside rear on the new one, stripping it no problem,
take arm to me mates garage and put in press(30ton maxpressure) 2k psi nothing 2.5psi nothing 3200psi, thought the arm was going to bend!!
then big bang and the hub finally popped out, the bearing itself was totally fubared and after a struggle to get old circlip to let go, it came out pretty easy, was that bad that the housing where it sits on the arm was blue from the heat!!!
bit that annoys me is its such a crap design you cannot avoid bending the back plate, removing the bearing, so you spend an hour stranghtening the back plate so you can refit the handbrake shoes properly!!
