Just saying a big thank you to Sethsmate for taking the time to have a good look over my TD for me and seeing what we can do about the bushes etc!
turns out there's not so much play if anything in the wishbones, or anything else, but the NSF track rod end is worn, so that may account for the odd tyre wear.
Went and bought new part same day, came to fitting only to find that the Bloody Locking wheel nut is missing. I didn't know as i've only bought the car recently and not had the wheels off it yet.
Have contacted previous owner (GhostRider on here) and waiting for him to get back to me.
Going to get it fitted then once i've got that, and then aligned.
Just bought a set of 16" elite alloys with tyres for £50 too ;D
So they're going on.
Hopefully should be bang on then.
Oh and Sethsmate had a good cleanout of the engine bay for me too and took off the intake plastic manifold bit and gave that a clean out too.
Really appreciate his time and effort on a saturday for me, and i bought him a cooked breakfast down the cafe as payment lol,
Much to his protest of course (about the payment, not the Breakfast ::) )
Thanks again

Happy to assist a fellow TD man Chris! ;)
I reckon that you got a bargain there mate - nothing untoward with the car that a little fettling won't sort.
As you saw, the camber settings replicate those of my own car, and I couldn't find any deterioration of the wishbone bushes/joints.
We'll get that tie-rod end changed once you've sorted the locking bolts, then alignment and a new pair of front tyres.
Make sure that your wheel bolts are kept tight from now on too!
Job should then be a good 'un! :y
Thanks for the breakfast too mate! ;D
