Thougt id come back to a proper forum for advice as any jag forums ive found arn't great :P
Basically I think the stat on the jag is stuck open as it takes a long time to heat up and only reaches normal temperature while driving in traffic or slowly, however cruising on the motorway it drops back down to cold :-?
Anyone got any other options?

Sounds like it to me. Can be checked exactly the same way as on the Omega... Start from cold and keep feeling the top hose... Rush of heat, stat OK, slowly warming up, stat knackered :y

Fortunatly the straight 6 six is much easier than any omega, just right on the front of the block 8-)

My TD Astra is also a 5 minute job, 'stat sit right at the front of the block, unlike a Smart Roadster's :-? :-? :-? It has a 'stat like you've never seen before! :-?
