Title: Rear-End LPG Bits (Have I missed anything)
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 31 March 2011, 13:41:34
Just placed my order:

90 litre, 400dia, 4 hole tank, valves and box: £90

4 x frame rubbers (Already have the frame) £2.20

UK Bayonet Filler (complete assembly), 90 deg, £28.25

1.5 meter JIC Hose £16.02

6 meters polyflex fuel feed line (8mm) £23.64

8mm Poly Fittings (to tank and vap) - £5.26

Gas-tight vent (boot floor) for fuel line to exit vehicle - £2.62

2 meters vent hose (between tank airtight box, and boot floor) - £6.30

Clips for fuel line: £7.80

Total cost for full rear end kit: 186.59

The tank is "new, old stock" with minor scratches/imperfections, but, it's brand new with warranty, never been used.

Not bad for complete rear end and pipework?

This will be it, for April - the front-end episode will occur in May!

No idea, as Teilo just includes everything...

How old is the tank? They are marked with a production date, and as I understand it, have to be tested every 10yrs after than date.

Not that you'll have it beyond the summer....

Just checked with supplier.

My rear end isn't coming from Teilo (but the front end will be)...

I know the MV6 one was about 2yrs old before fitting, but didn't class that as an issue for that car last year, as it was (then) 12yrs old and 163k on the clock ;D
