...relocating the Bose amp and fitting a blind into That Bloody Elite.
Bose amp now mounted to a prefacelift CD Changer cage in the right rear cubby hole (loom does reach), and the wiring to the Bose subs extended, running through grommets above the metal shelf so as not to get snagged by luggauge. Its amazing how much space removing those shelves frees up - though at least in the MV6 I am making good use of the space within the Bose shelf.
The blind was the usual, straightforward fitting, though mine being a 2003 model, I had to fit an additional plug.

Yes, I thought that this would illicit some interest from the regular contributors :(

Ooh thanks for
bumping posting I missed this. It's exactly what I want to do with mine. ;)
(think I "may" have mentioned it before ::) )
Is there room to site telematics in the first aid cupboard too? :)

Sounds good use of space :y

And will make fitting LPG tank a bit easier I suppose? :-/

I'd say the TM wouldn't fit along side amp. Unless you fabricated a large amp mount, and mounted TM above amp. Would look messy, but its hidden. You'd then need to remove the cage part that is on the fold down flap bit (that the 1st aid kit sits in).
Personally, seeing how useless the Omega Glovebox is, and the amount of storage in the facelift doors, if I were to fit a TM, it'd be in the glovebox...

Seeing as I have 20,000 of those CD Changer magazines, both my Omegas have door pockets full up with magazines pre-loaded with CDs ;D
Both my Omegas have the glovebox literature and a pair of sunglass in the glovebox, and thats all that will fit ;D

I turf all that stuff out and remember how to drive it instead. :P Then Mrs. KW fills the glove box up with CDs I hate. >:(

How custom is the custom loom i'm making for your custom install of your custom telematics in a custom place? ::) ;D
It may be easier to build the front end of the loom up, install it and put the connectors on for the rear install afterwards.......
One point to note, I wouldn't mount the telematics or it's aerial cable to close to the Bose amp and it's cabling otherwise you might suffer some interference issues.

Ducting from the heater or a load of these?

Well initially ducting, but ... :-/

Pre minifacelifts often had A/C gloveboxes... ...never bothered checking where it picked the chilled air from though.

Knowing Vauxhall it'll probably be the same as on a Vectra 'b', the chilled air is fed into the glove box via a tube from an outlet on the rear of the heater matrix enclosure.
The last Omega I took apart had a tube that appeared to feed cold air to the rear of the stereo, maybe look where that originates from?
