Title: A very big thanks to...
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 03 April 2011, 00:12:51
A) Mr Sassanach, for giving up his time today to perform some excellent measuring, drilling, cutting, welding, bracket creation and such like on my car. The end result - a customised LPG tank frame,  to fit the tank very neatly up against the rear seats, with custom tabs welded to bolt the frame down in the best places. A very neat job indeed, I couldn't have got it nearly so good without someone so skilled in metalwork. We also have filler mounted in rear quarter panel  :y

A heartfelt thankyou!

B) Mr Wood, for having a poke around under my bonnet, and giving me some advice on  my pesky performance issue.

Productive day, many thanks again  :y

Ahh. Just sent a PM about that.  :y

Was a pleasure. I hope you're closer to finding the problem now.

That Sassanach does know how to beat a bit of tin ;D. And that Wood chap is a bit of a (posh :D) geek when it comes to injection systems due to his Megasquirt knowledge ;D

Both very helpful, and we're lucky to have both here :y

Are we any nearer to finding out what's wrong with it?

Indeed, but, it's really not a major issue.. just something I KNOW is not right...

all those who know their cars, will understand!!
