walking past a local garage near my g/f's house i noticed a ''v'' reg omega (first shape).
the bodywork seemed good and tidy other than the usual bonnet chips. i noted that one of the fog lights was at an odd angle and on closer inspection it seems it has been in a small bump. so other than that quite nice.
it was advertised with low mileage and on peering in the drivers window it had 61k on the clock. which is bloody low.
however they were asking for £995.
was a bit gob smacked.
what do you think?

It depends. If it was a nice Elite with a good service history, a recent cambelt change, the mileage could be verified and I wanted on to drive around in for a few years, then yes but if I was buying it to make a few bob then its way too expensive in my opinion ;)

Probably took it in px for about £300.

if its been looked after it doesnt sound too bad, but as chris said he probably took it in part ex for next to nothing so bargnin him down a bit.

Sounds like it might have been clocked.. :o
