I recently purchased a 2001 zafira to get all the sprogs in. I bought it knowing the rear drivers side door would'nt open, hoping it was a quick fix of putting a rod back on or something, managed to get the door card off >:( and everything thing seems to be connected and trying to open ,it just wont ! iam a bit stumped as to how can you change the module thingys on the inside of the door if you cant get the bleeding thing open? >:( >:( >:(
please help before i go insane, is there anyway of over riding , removing with the door shut
cheers :y

The fault will be a broken wire in the rear door loom around the B post area.
One method that sometimes works is to unlock the car and then press down the drivers door lock button and then pull it up again....now use the internal handle (which may of coruse not work if child locks are enabled!).
Otherwise its a case of dabbing 12V onto the lock motor lock tab and once done, repair the loom.

when the father-in-law had a Zafira my nephews used the loom at the B post as a step to help them into their car seats. :-? :-? :-? Maybe why their rear doors' central locking stopped working. ;D ;D
