Not exactly a confident ad, "no warranty as it was driven in to us" ok no warranty, but how else would the car get to them :-/
But then it's £300.
That lpg wont be certified I'm sure, if it even runs with gas in it. Depends what you want to do with it?

Its a lovely colour with al the extras and the mileage is exceptional, but?
The messages above point out the pitfalls if you want to buy it to drive it. Could be gr9 or a moneypit :-/

As with any car of a similar age ;)
....... or even a V6 Omega ::) ::)
-
I agree for any car of its age. Even for a v6 omega? :o
LOL
I just think the seller is playing the "we just want it off our hands" a bit too hard.

I reckon he just wants shut of an 18 yr old car that's taking up space that could be used for more profitable cars. If you look at what else he's selling .... clicky (http://shop.ebay.co.uk/deesidemotorcentreltd/m.html?_trksid=p4340.l2562) he's not exactly going to miss it if/when he sells it. ;)
-
Just had a look at his range, he does seem to love Volvo's,lol
;D

Precisely. No dealer who is punting out 15k cars on ebay at that rate is going to mess about with a car that's only going to raise a few hundred quid anyway. It'll be straight to ebay or an auction.
It looks tidy for the age from the pictures, has evidence that the mileage might be genuine and it drives. That would be enough for me to have a punt if I was interested.

I'm thinking throw the 2 litre Carlton lump away that currently powers "Triketon", and replacing it with something that has a little bit more ooomph :D

You'll get linched for saying such a thing when the Senator boys (Andy B, Albs etc) see this ;D
Once again - twice today - I agree with you ;D

Was passing, so stopped and had a nosey.
Looked in good condition, esp given its age.
If I was in the market, would be very tempted.
Havent opened it up, seen engine etc, but window view looked ok.
Gas system has stickers with brief details on the screen.
Been enthusiast owned at some point as had Autobahnstormers stickers on the window.

Stop it James! You should have said it was a rot box & I'd be happy that I'd not missed out on it ......
It'd look nice with my facelift Elite wheels on it if I put the originals back on my Omega .......
I must resist

Finished at £675. Well worth that imo. ;)
-
Anyone here get it?
-
Not me unfortunately. I am trying very hard to let my head rule my heart after all these years.
When I was 19 I could have bought a house for cash, but I bought a Chevette HS and forked out to insure it instead. ::) ;D ;D...........Im supposed to be a grown up now though. :-X
-
They reckoned the registration No. had been valued for at least £400, so £275 for the car!!
-
Stop it Bob. Im starting to regret not buying it even more now. :'( ::) :D
