Firstly i was'nt sure where to post this so if need be by all means shift it where it should be & i promise to keep the pram fully stocked.
Just read Pete's post re the 02 est for sale resulting in a head fault meaning it's only good to break. I've spoken to Pete on the phone recently about MX5's. We also spoke about Migs & as aforementioned in his post he said they are becoming uneconomical to repair & worth more to break & even that is dwindling as a result.
Just seems a shame. Guy.

It is a shame Guy they are nice cars but as said they are becoming worth less and less :'(

Got to agree, great cars mine ticks all the boxes, apart from fuel consumption. I will keep it on the road until it becomes too expensive to repair, simple economics really.
I need an estate for my dogs, like a large power plant, and a well appointed auto so what do I replace the miggy with?

I remember someone last year posted up the number of Omegas left. I think it was the 2.5 engine and larger and only the CDX and Elite models.
Does anyone know how many are left?? :) :)

But it has cost me about a grand since :'( :'( to get it up to sorts and still has a couple of jobs to do, in all this will make it the most expensive 2.2CD on the forum, despite doing everything properly when looking.. ::) ::)
Same with the estate really, bought it but since put it right has been a great car, so once right you have a fab car for your money...... :y :y

You are right, but i spent ages looking and thought I had found the Ideal car, it's cool now once I get the air bag ecu changed, which I have you in mind at the lakes meet, I have the part..... :y :y :-* :-*

i cant say my omegas not me anything really to run
every thing else iv manged to do me self for peanuts and a lot of swearing and scraped knuckels
I have i go at most thing just dident want to risk screwing up the cam belt as of only down 8valves before
if done i the ushal stuff oil cooler ,cam cover gaskets crank sensor, dis pack, hbv, broken bonding wire on ABS ECU myself
got the scare on knuckles to probe it lol
but Darth done me water pump and cam
for a dam good pice not long back
i tend to nip up srcapy and grap any thing that mite come in handy if there's one in
I did get my elite for a good price and it was in nice nick
but im planing on keeping it and trying to keep it is good nick as long as i posibly can
cant beat em for parts priced really compared with say a beamer
the high costs come from labor on the omega 100`s on simple jobs you can do your self with a bit of common sense

after visiting the docs this morning
not been sleep for more that 3 hours at a time for a week
and this has been one the better forums and the guys put with my doggy typing :y
ie my spelling shit and i have trouble constructing decent gramer when writing
but not reading or maths like normal dyslexia
the exact name is Dyslexic Dysgraphia

I have an acquaintence with the same thing, and he can't use a computer because he cannot string a decent sentence together that is understandable.

its a non numerological form
basically to explain unlike normal dyslexics that have trouble reading and mix letter or numbers up.
i don't never did in fact was a head of other children reading and very good a maths
I have trouble putting my torts down in the written word. in making it readable and the spelling is the secondary problem
a spell checker helps with but aint perfect
so when i write the grammar just don't flow
i kind of like I muilti task my thorts and to write you need to do it in serial one at a time and not all at the same time
Its even worse If I am writing but hand and I don't pay a lot attention to it much more that your or someone else
at the time it makes sense to me half hour later. I cant read the dam thing myself.
in fact it can cause physical pain in hand and arm when writing by hand
like you know. I got a doggy back and this week the top of me back kicked off bad and I have been loaded up on pain meds or I cant sleep so being half stoned dont help.
Symptoms of dysgraphia
A mixture of upper/lower case letters, irregular letter sizes and shapes, unfinished letters, struggle to use writing as a communications tool, odd writing grip, many spelling mistakes (sometimes), pain when writing, decreased or increased speed of writing and copying, talks to self while writing, muscle spasms in the arm and shoulder (sometimes in the rest of the body), inability to flex (sometimes move) the arm (creating an L-like shape), and general illegibility.
Many people who are dysgraphic experience pain while writing. The pain usually starts in the center of the forearm and then spreads along the nervous system to the entire body. This pain can get worse or even appear when a dysgraphic is stressed. Few people who do not have dysgraphia know about this, because many with dysgraphia will not mention it to anyone. There are a few reasons why pain while writing is rarely mentioned:
Sufferers do not know that it is unusual to experience this type of pain with writing.
If they know that it is different from how others experience writing, they feel that few will believe them.
Those who do not believe that the pain while writing is real will often not understand it. It will usually be attributed to muscle ache or cramping, and it will often be considered only a minor inconvenience.
For some people with dysgraphia, they no longer write, and just type everything, so they no longer feel this pain.
Dysgraphics who experience this pain may exhibit reluctance or refusal to complete writing tasks.
but you still get the crap grammar and spelling
its called Dyslexic dysgraphia as there are different types
but its not actually Dyslexia at all
but it easy to say iv got a form of Dyslexia rather than explain iv got Dyslexic dysgraphia
but i have not got Dyslexia lol
as it will just confuse people without the longer explanation

thanks . But Ill lay money He is of high intelligence
ill bet he has trouble typing a letter on a PC
but you he could build you a new PC or fix it
see im 40 odd when i was a kid at school it want really understood. like it is now
IQ wise, I Was classed and a gifted child and was capable of doing A level maths in junior school
