well, my 02 mig finally took its mot test yesterday after a year and bit off the road, and it PASSED, with 3x advisories!!!
1x rear indicator bulbs starting to show white(bought new bulbs, now orange)
2x rear brake pads low(told mot guy that i had new pads and discs to put on but he still advised it)
3x oil leak( told him that where i had changed cam covers seals oil had run down sides of engine and hadn't had time to clean it yet, but he still advised it)
so all in all, i'm pleased as punch now :)
(well, apart from the fact it cost me £143 to tax it for 6months, when did that bloody go up)

Well done mate, always good to get a new ticket without having to spend a fortune :y

well, to cut a long story.
i bought the omega, a 2002 02 plate 2.6cdx with full leather and a fully loaded 2001 'y' plated rover 75 connoiseur 2.5 for £1000. both suspect h/g but lol, neither were, rover needed £50 on thermostat housing, few pipes and antifreeze and omega needed oil cooler.
i sold the rover 75 last year for £1400, so, it has cost me in the region £250 to get it on the road, not including the governments £143 for 6months road usage, robbing gits.
so, all in all, i'm chuffed. :)
