I googled a lot of websites, online stores and I can't find anything.
Do you know what calipers will fit Omega 3.2 and where can I get it from?
Any help will be much appreciated.

Having trouble with the performance of the originals :-/ :-?
One member has put some Corvette brakes to Omega, can't remember who but searching "C5+ calipers" or something should give a result

You have ensured that the stock ones are working correctly, and that the pads are not cheap crap?
If so, what are you using the car for that requires a brake upgrade? I can't imagine the need for it on a road car.
However, you could try www.hispecmotorsport.co.uk as they're only in Dartford, and do good work.

The brake pads are made by Valeo, they were really cheap actually and you could be right.
What pads are the best?

If your doing alot of
speeding cruising and harsh braking, my personal experience i would go for ebc greenstuff/redstuff. little dearer, but they will make sure you stop mate! and for normal driving i would just go for vx ones! :y

Must admit, I'm quite hard on my brakes sometimes and have no issues with Vx ones ;) :y

.........don't go anywhere near Redstuff on an Omega - Got those put on by Hispec when I first got my Car - total and utter s***e
Have you increased the performance of your engine/car?
If not, use Vx ones.
If you have - by how much and are you going to do the discs as well?
If you've money to burn and big alloys,Hispec will fit their Monster 6 pots for you I'm sure...................

You have to go some to overdrive the standard brakes, if working right :o
I'm pretty hard on brakes, and have no issues with the Tradeclub brakes, other than they are shot within 6k due to wear.
If you need more of a track pad, EBC redstuff work well IME, despite comments above, *BUT* only work when hot (like any track pad). Not really suitable for just nipping down the shops ;D

For £14 quid I would give trade club pads a go and see what you think.
Ime with these things generally, it's best to go back to stock and then see if factories spec is good enough. It usually is.
There's some real shite aftermarket stuff about.

Ime with these things generally, it's best to go back to stock and then see if factories spec is good enough. It usually is.
There's some real shite aftermarket stuff about.
Indeed, whatever junk is on TBE currently won't bed in or create more bite, so will have to be changed, though doubt the car will get used for a week or 2 now... ...back in the MV6 :D

No.. He forgot the advice to spread them liberally with copperslip. ;D
I too find the trade club pads OK, although I did have fade problems at the front, that was resolved by making sure the rear brakes were up to scratch.

I've found TC ones are good for about 10 big (3 digits to standstill) stops in very quick succession before they have faded to the point of really struggling to pull the car up. I'd say you'd be hard pushed to manage that on UK roads, outside of cities towns made up of nothing but roundabouts on dual carriageways...

I don't think £70 on tc for oe pads is justifiable generally unless tc have been found lacking.... In what ever respect that may be. Feel is my problem with tc pads under normal driving. But tc are a
good cheap place to start for the op. If no good he's only spent £14!

I wonder if OE would tolerate more abuse than TC? :-/ ::)
But then, 2 sets of them a year starts to add up, at £14 a pop, TC are neglible... :-/

standard brakes are just about up to the job for heat-shedding capacity. What they're not good at doing is staying that way for very long. I tentatively reckon I change discs twice as frequently as I change pads due to excess vibration.
Try fitting four new discs and new pads and see where you go from there.
if yu're using it on the track, then that's a different story. When I still used Girling, I'd fit a new set of discs every track-day and they would still only last until lunch. I use 350mm discs now and don't have any problems anymore, strangely.

I reckon I get 3-4 TC pad sets to each disc, which is normally changed due to wear rather than warping/vibration.
Note, mostly road use, with occasional runway fun :-X

I can't get them to last any time at all - first time of getting proper used, I'll get some vibration - then it's downhill all the way from there.
.....and of course, normal roads around here are like the Stelvio pass

a) reusing the sensors is cheaper than a set of pads :P
b) pads seem to lose ability to lose heat as they wear (well, TC ones anyway)

mine are on the car but nowhere near the pads :D,lets face it,pad wear is easily checked visibly with the 17 inch alloys fitted

Its when the metal insert that is part of the pad backing plate comes out and gets stuck on sensor when I'm Donald Ducked ;D - haven't perfected that bit yet ;D

Just goes to show how big an effect driving style has. I would probably get bored after the first roundabout and go into constant 50MPH mode on both the roundabouts and dual carriageways thereafter. ;D
I tend to start scraping the door handles when I get on a twisty road but I find they don't really punish the brakes (unless you put them on the side of a mountain - not available in Hampshire). ;D
TBH, having an auto box increasingly tends to discourage me from playing in the Omega.
I haven't had a GM brake disk go wobbly on me yet.
I can't be bothered with the wear sensors either. I find the pedal goes pretty wooden once they're down to a few mm so they get replaced then anyway.

I tow a 14ft caravan that weighs 760kg's weekly, I am not a traveler that lives in my caravan lol but take my cars to modifird car meets and use it as a mobile lounge, and wondered when it comes to changing my pads if the TC pads would be ok on my car? ANd where can I get them from? :-/
