Title: why did vaux change coil pack connectors ?
Post by: SteveT528 on 19 May 2011, 19:58:11
Hi all, any idea why vaux changed the coil pack connector?
Bosch 0 221 503 017 rounded connector
Bosch 0 221 503 010 square connector

are they the same other than connector? or are they different voltages/resistance?

I suspect its less likely Vx initiated it, probably Bosch found a reason to 'improve' it for some unknown reason.  Possibly because it may be electrically different, and not necessarily cross compatible in all cases?

True, forgot bosch made it.  i have a new gen vx square type here that i bought by mistake and i needed the rounded type so... was thinking of changing the connector but ive changed my mind i need to stop being tight and get the right one  ;D
