Title: Downloading Stag softwear
Post by: albitz on 19 May 2011, 22:51:53
My ECU is a stag 300-6. I dont see mention of this on the website. It appears to be premium/plus etc. which is reffered to.
Anyone know what I should be looking at/for ? :-/
Tia.

Sounds like a vanilla Stag300 to me, so the plus software won't work. You need ACGasSynchro software 1_14_1_0.

http://www.ac.com.pl/public/pubonline/cms/files/Programy-i-instrukcje-obslugi/pl/Stag%20200%20300/SetupAcGasSynchro-1_14_1_0.exe

This should update the firmware when you connect to the ECU if it's required.

You MAY lose all your calibration and setup, and, helpfully, saving and loading the setup to the PC doesn't work with this ECU IME. Don't update unless you are in a position to map the system from scratch.

Stag300 firmware hasn't changed in a long time (since I converted 2.5 years ago IIRC) and, if it's not broke...

Yep... That's the version you want :y

As Kevin says, if it ain't broke, don't fiddle! I'm fairly sure I've done the firmware update on it for you already. If you are going to play, I'd recommend taking some screen shots of the settings so you can put them back ;)

I have your lead but I think I'm supposed to be picking something up from you so I can have a look then if you like?

Thats possible. I will be returning his locking kit soon anyway, so could try and tie it in. :y

Obviously my offer still stands, if you get stuck I'll happily nip down and give some moral support ;)

I'll let you know what day I'll be going to Johns
