Bend up the bracket holding the bonnet alarm switch

Suspect most pre fl owners have had that issue. As rob says bend the bracket up. Or disconnect the bonet switch altogether....?
On the face lift the switch is bolted to the drivers side suspension turret.

Hi,
I presume its an estate? If so, check the pane-break sensors on the rear side windows. Pop the connectors off and short a fine piece of wire across. Do each window one at a time to find which one it is.
Dogs sometimes damage them, not enough to see, but enough to break the circuit when the car heats up in the sun.  :)
