Post by: ninjapirate on 12 June 2011, 21:59:13
hi, had a quick look around for info
a mate just told me its simple to retro fit cruise control, i just need the stalk and someone with tech2 to program it.
so, is this correct and is there anyone around the winchester hants area wilts, etc that could do that for me?

Yep, stalk and TechII. Kevin may well be your man.

If yours is a manual, you *may* need a clutch switch (can't remember if 2.2s have them fitted already), you need to visually check first.

Kevin Wood is the nearest to you with the equipment to enable it in the 2.2 ECU.

had a quick look, couldnt see much, but didnt remove that black cover thingy, will do tht and grab a pic i think.

i use cruise all the time in the alfa so its def worth getting it fitted for me, esp as i want to use it for towing to cornwall.
