Title: To port or not to port, that is the question
Post by: Gaffers on 02 July 2011, 12:41:26
I am in the process of getting ready to swap cyl heads and I am tempted to port the exhaust and inlets.  I have the 3.0 cams but kept the original bridge.

I have no probs refurbing the heads, I have done many before so I know how much of a difference that will make but unsure about the porting or whether i should do it having never done it before......

opinions please!  :y

From what I have read it seems that porting the inlets is the most important, and that leaving a lip to the exhaust manifold is important to reduce back pressure.  Is this accurate?
